An immature Red-throated Loon is present in Lac Deschennes, visible from either the Shirley's Bay boat launch or the end of the dyke; usually in front of the Alymer Marina. Also present are 6 Horned Grebe, 2 Red-necked Grebe, 1 Common Loon, 10+ Red-breasted Merganser and up to 60 White-winged Scoter. Shorebirds are still moving about, my count at Shirley's Bay this morning was 20 Black-bellied Plover, 50+ White-rumped Sandpiper, 2 Semipalmated Plover and about a dozen Dunlin. The forest at the edge of dyke had good numbers of Robin, Kinglet and Yellow-rump along with 1 Rusty Blackbird.
