Visitors:
Once again quite a few visitors enjoying this beautiful weather.
Weather:
A beautiful day. Temperatures today ranged from 8-14 C. A few clouds in
an otherwise bright blue sky. Fairly strong winds all day out of the
south.
Raptor Observations:
A pretty slow day numbers-wise, but the watchers on the tower today enjoyed
some nice looks of some exciting birds. Eight Golden Eagles were seen, all
either juveniles or subadults. A Merlin buzzed the tower right overhead in
the afternoon.
Non-raptor Observations:
Non-raptors were fairly quiet today. Quite a few flocks of Cedar Waxwings
were going over along with large blackbird flocks. American Crows were
largely absent today. There are still tons of ducks and coots in the
marsh.
