An adult dark morph Pomarine Jaeger is sitting on the sandbar on the west
side of Cobourg harbour this morning, Sunday November 13. It flies short
distances showing its wing flashes but is obviously far from well, likely
suffering from avian botulism.

Found by Ian Shanahan leading an OFO trip - a good start to the day!

Directions: from Hwy.401 at Exit 474 go south on Division Street to the
harbour. Drive to the parking lot on the west side of the harbour and walk
down the trail on the grassy west headland.
