Today,my dad (Len manning Sr.) and I checked out the Komoka Pits and were
rewarded with many ducks geese, but by far the best bird was an obvious
CACKLING GOOSE in with the canadas and ruddy ducks.

The bird was viewed from Glendon Drive (#14), south east of the road in the
`main pond`, for some time and gave good looks, though a scope was required to
view the bird well. This is my first county record for this species.
