Three GWFG were seen by myself between 12:30 and 1:00 p.m. at Riverside Park in
Pembroke, at the beach. There were 2 adults and one immature; looked like the
tundra subspecies. Only our second record here in Renfrew County. They were
casually swimming in the midst of the thousand + Canada Geese.

Directions: From HWY 17 (Trans-Canada), turn North on to HWY 41 towards
downtown Pembroke. Turn left at the first set of lights on to Boundary Rd, to
the very end of it. Turn right at the stop sign, and left at the only set of
lights. Riverside Park is the first entrance you see on your right; drive all
th eway down to the beach, park, walk a few meters, and watch... good luck!
