The Slaty-backed Gull remains in Niagara Falls observed this afternoon at 3:20 pm on the island in the Niagara River just north of the hydro control stucture gates. Observers were John Lamey, Kayo Roy, Jim Thomson and North Carolina birder John Haire. The eagle eye of John Lamey picked out this rare visitor to Niagara.
