A mainly white example completely alone on the east breakwall of the harbor,
whereas the west breakwall was aswarm with 'thousands' of Herring Gulls, some
Ring-billed, 10-15 Great Black-backed, and several Bonaparte's flying about.
On recent occasions there has been a nice adult Lesser Black-backed Gull here
though not seen today.

Pt. Stanley is on the central north shore of Lake Erie south of London-St
Thomas at the end of old Hwy 4. There is obvious access to the harbor area on
both sides of Kettle Creek.
