Scanning the dump from a distance, and multiple water features along Ira Needles Blvd (Intersection of Erb, University and Victoria), observed a number of nice gulls. 5 Glaucous Gulls (Two 1st Basic, Two 2/3 Basic, 1 Adult), 5 Iceland Gulls (Four 1st basic, 1 adult), 1 Lesser Black-backed Gull (Juvenile/1st), 15 GBBG (variety of ages) amongst numerous Herring Gulls and a sprinkling of Ring-billed Gulls. I actually bumped into another birder at Victoria to observe and photograph one of the iceland gulls. Directions: All in Kitchener/Waterloo along Ira Needles Blvd: Victoria St. S Pond is Southwest of the traffic circle at the intersection, the University Pond is Northwest of the traffic circle, and the Erb pond is Southwest of the traffic circle in the golf course (visible from the parking lot in the commercial plaza).
