3 Northern Flickers were observed near the footpath that runs from Old Finch
Avenue parallel to and east of Morningview Trail. The footpath leads to an old
orchard where a first year Northern Harrier was observed. A Pileated Woodpecker
was heard in the adjacent woodland of the Rouge Valley. The Swamp Sparrow was
in a man-made, cattail-filled area near the Rouge River by the hydro lines that
cross Staines Road about 1.5 km south of Steeles Ave.

Old Finch Avenue runs west of Morningside Ave. in Scarborough, city of Toronto.
