Three of the well-documented snowy owls at Presqu'ile Provincial Park were
visible on Sunday.

One was seen from the Park Office Viewing Platform, soaring and swooping over
the frozen marshes.

The other two were seen along the Owen Point Trail, one on the beach and the
other on the shore of Gull Island, yet visible from the mainland.

To reach Presqu'ile Provincial Park, take the 401 to the Brighton exit and
follow the signs. The Owen Point Trail parking lot is marked on the main park
road. The Park Office Viewing Platform is just beyond where the road bears
right to the lighthouse. Keep straight at the intersection and the platform is
just ahead on the left, easily visible from the road.
