January 8. 2012 This morning, Leonard Manning, Gail McNeil, Gordon Saunders and myself observed the Mountain Bluebird from 10:10 am until 10:30. She was perched on a fence post on the east side of the road. We observed her in the scope regurgitating a meal. When we got her in the scope she was joined by the Eastern bluebird. The Eastern was flying across into the Pines and back into the South-east corner of the field. The Mountain bluebird flew across to the west side of the road as we did not see her after she flew from the fence post.
