Hi everyone!  We've been reading with interest the new reports of the Snowy
Owl at the Port Weller Harbor, and also admired the nice photo of the King
Eider we weren't able to track down on December 31!

 

After seeing the Snowy Owl photos recently, I think that we may be dealing
with two Snowies.  The Owl we saw in the St. Catherine's Marina had much
less barring - a male for sure.  Photo here:

There may be two different Snowy Owls in the area - worth looking out for!
