Further to Alan's posting about the recent waterfowl influx at Point Pelee, there was a sudden appearance of 12 Northern Pintails in Cobourg harbour on January 24, rising to 16 today, January 25. There were also 3 Northern Pintails in a flooded field west of Port Hope on the 24th. Margaret Bain.
