Today, March 7, the vegetable fields in the Holland Marsh/Bradford area were virtually free of snow. With much hard work I found one Snowy owl south of Ravenshoe rd east of Leslie in the south Keswick area. If there were more they were too far from the road to see.

The large field of rye on the west side of Yonge south of Ravenshoe had magnificent flocks of Trumpeter swans. A group of 5 Sandhill cranes flew east overhead.
