Today (March 11), I observed at least 1000 Bonaparte's Gulls in the Shorebird Cell at Hillman Marsh near Leamington. There were also considerably lesser numbers of Green Winged Teal, American Widgeon, Northern Shovellers, Mallards, and Canada Geese. Hillman Marsh is approximately four miles east of Leamington on Oak Street.
