Hi all. After a great day yesterday with the Kitchener group I decided to see what was going on at the Strathroy lagoons this afternoon. There in the south cell was a Eurasian Wigeon hanging out with a few American Wigeon. This was from 3 - 4:30pm. It was fairly close in for good viewing; no scope required but binocs yes. Also, in the woods to the southeast there were 3 Yellow-rumped Warblers together.
Directions: The lagoons are located just west of Strathroy, east off Pike Rd. between Albert St. (Napperton Dr; #39) and Metcalfe St. (#9). There is a small lot avialable for parking. _______________________________________________ ONTBIRDS is presented by the Ontario Field Ornithologists - the provincial birding organization.
