It was in the same spot this evening between 5:30 and 6:00 as observed by myself, Simon Dodsworth, Cathy Darevic, and Don Sutherland. You can see the entire eBird checklist of birds at this location (plus a link to a google map of the exact location): http://ebird.org/ebird/view/checklist?subID=S10301498 I have a couple photos up on my blog. Directions: From Peterborough take Hwy 7 east out of town to Regional Road 38 and turn right (south). Take this to Regional Road 2 and make a left (east). Take the first right (3rd Line). After crossing over River Road stay to your left to enter Asphodel Heights. There is a small park where you can view the lake. This evening the Barrow's Goldeneye was mostly staying west of this spot. ----------------------------------------------------------- Mike Burrell [email protected] http://mikeburrell.blogspot.com/ _______________________________________________ ONTBIRDS is presented by the Ontario Field Ornithologists - the provincial birding organization.
