Hi Ontbirders,

Kim Toews and I birded east of Ottawa today, and I was able to re-locate the Long-billed Dowitcher that was originally found on March 21st on Frank Kenny Road. It was feeding along the river by the bridge. Some patience will likely been needed as it often disappeared from view for long periods, either hidden by Canada Geese or the river bank. While watching the Dowitcher I had a Golden Eagle fly over with a Red-tailed Hawk. They were both soaring and slowly heading north. I also stopped at the Giroux Road ponds, which had 4 Snow Geese mixed in with the thousands of Canada's.

Good Birding!
