At between 4:00 and 4:30 this afternoon I saw a single Little Gull flying
eastward at the outlet of Farewell Creek into Lake Ontario, at Second Marsh in
Oshawa.  It was relatively low, had a completely black head with a tiny bill,
little to no black at the wing tips and no white wedge like a Bonepart's.  Most
notable, of course, was the dark underwing, particlulary on the distal half.
As far as I know it did not land, as I could not find it on the marsh
thereafter.
