Yesterday evening I birded Colonel Sam Smith Park between 6 and 7:30pm. It was
still quite windy and rained intermittently however there was some activity at
the south east corner of the 'bowl':

(where a specific number is not provided, more than ten individuals were seen)

Brown Thrasher (2)
Winter Wren (2)
Blue-headed Vireo (1)
Yellow-bellied Sapsucker (1)
Hermit Thrush
Yellow-rumped Warbler
Ruby-crowned Kinglet
White-Throated Sparrow
American Goldfinch

I also had a fleeting glimpse of a particularly rusty coloured Thrush but could
not relocate to confirm that it was a Veery.

Colonel Sam Smith Park is located south of Humber College at the foot of
Kipling Ave. where it intersects Lakeshore Blvd West in Etobicoke. The 'bowl'
is a large oval depression in the ground lined by evergreens just east of the
Humber College buildings.
