Today at the Carden Alvar, Charles Smith and I found the Say's Phoebe
in the barnyard at 547 Shrike's Road 2.3 km North of McNamee Road at
between 10 and 11 am today - it dodged about as it fed then crossed the
road into the field on the East side where it continued to perch and feed
from tree to tree until it was joined by an Eastern Phoebe which nicely
highlighted the differences between the two. They both headed off in an
easterly direction. Earlier we found a Loggerhead Shrike on McNamee
road shortly after entering it - cheers - Stan Long
