Hey birders,

2nd day here. Alittle slower than yesterday, but still good stuff....

Yellow-throated Warbler - the male I found yesterday along the south shore at
the intersection of Curry Dyke and South Shore was still around and was joined
by a 2nd male!!! The 2nd bird was found by Dean Ware earlier this morning. Both
birds were seen and heard simultaneously, and are generally within 100m. of one
another! I might add that I am currently watching one of them from my patio
(beer in hand).

White-eyed Vireo - 1 bird seen at Lighthouse Point

Some other interesting birds seen today included my first Ruby-throated
Hummingbird, Eastern Kingbird and Sora (2 were heard at Fish Point).
Additionally 2 Surf Scoters flew by Fish Point first thing.

Birders should note that currently the ferry (both!!!) are inoperable, and will
likely be so until May 12th. Flights are running several times daily from
Windsor, out of Great Lakes Airline at a cost of $15 roundtrip ($15 is
correct).

Good Birding,
Ken Burrell
