In addition to the first of year species reported from Pelee Island and Point 
Pelee National Park, the Holiday Beach Migration Observatory, in banding birds 
at Hillman Marsh Conservation Area, banded the following first of year species 
on Wednesday, May 2, 2012:
 
Ruby-throated Hummingbird - male 
Least Flycatcher 
Mourning Warbler
Chestnut-sided Warbler 
Black-throated Green Warbler
Blackburnian Warbler 
Black and White Warbler
Ovenbird  
Rose-breasted Grosbeak
 
Hillman Marsh Conservation Area is located at the intersection of Concession 
Road 19 and County Road 20 (Oak Street East) in the Town of Leamington, north 
of Point Pelee National Park and east of the Town of Leamington.
 
Banding will take place every day for the remainder of this week. Visitor's are 
welcome.
