Alternate plumaged bird, perhaps a female. May have just flown off though. Also present: 1 northern waterthrush, 1 orange-crowned warbler (both along walking trail next to lake).
Avocets not present this a.m. See Gerry Binsfelds directions last night. Good place too visit for shorebirds stopping over.
