At 10:10 this a.m. in a ploughed field on the west side of McArthur Rd, between Anadale and Scotchmere,just west of the village of Appin. A flock of about 12 longspurs with at least 1 chestnut-collared, the others lapland. Excellant views with binos and scope. After about 15-20 mins they flew in a N/E direction.
Directions: From London take Glendon Rd (Hwy 14) to just past the village of Appin. MCArthur Rd. is the first rd past Thames Rd. Drive north and scan fields.
