Hi Ontbirders,
I am posting this for Bill Gilmour who is having internet problems.
At 5 p.m. today Bill found a beautiful male Harlequin Duck at
Chatterton Point, Presqu'ile Provincial Park, and it was still present
with a female Common Goldeneye at 630 p.m. Chatterton Pt. is the
western-most part of the western picnic area. To reach it go in the
park, go past the campground office to the "y" junction, where the one
way loop begins. Follow the one way road to the spot where it meets
the water again and this is Chatteron Pt. The duck was about 100m out
in glass calm water.
Cheers,
Doug McRae
