This morning around 8 - 8:30 Nancy and I spotted a female White-winged Crossbill feeding in the pines on the east side of the bowl area in the north-east area of the park. Directions: Colonel Samuel Smith park is locaed south of the QEW at the end of Kipling Ave. Take the first left and drive east to where there is a large grassy depression (bowl) surrounded by conifers.
