Hey Folks,

About twenty minutes ago I had an arcticus/montanus-type Spotted Towhee
moving rapidly North along the Humber River, loosely associating with a
small flock of warblers. Initially I heard the bird's two-part, scratchy
song from the beginning of the Marsh Boardwalk but it was moving relatively
quickly, singing all the way. The probability of re-discovering it is
probably quite low, but it's well worth looking/listening for if you don't
mind the entry fee!

Mourning Warblers are back on territory as well, with at least four singing
males heard today within the vicinity of the Humber River.

DIRECTIONS:

The Kortright Centre is located three kilometers west of Highway 400 and
one kilometer south of Major Mackenzie Drive at 9550 Pine Valley Drive in
Woodbridge. Trail maps can be located at the Visitor Centre. There is an
entry fee.

Good Birding!
