Folks

While doing the Baillie Birdathon on Sunday in the Stratford area, I found an
adult Forster's Tern. The bird was in the fenced-in cell at the Mitchell Sewage
Lagoon adjacent to the West Perth Wetlands.
This bird is uncommon, I think, so far inland in Ontario and the first
Forster's Tern recorded in the Stratford area.
The bird was not found again on Monday.
Directions: From Ontario Street in Mitchell, follow Wellington St. to the south
end to the lagoons.
