Hello Ontbirds, On May 12 I posted – “ For first time since 2002 (...) on May 10, I have seen Hooded Merganser female with 11 chicks (...).”
May 14 – 6 chicks , May 18 – 5, May 25 – 3, May 29 – 2, June 2 – only female, June 3 and 4 – no Hooded Merganser on Topham Pond in Eglinton Flats! After 24 days survival rate = zero.
