we have been seeing a pair of Upland sandpipers over the last 4 days. they are near the southeast corner of Panmure Rd and Dwyer hill Rd in west Carleton(rural west Ottawa). we were able to get pictures of 1 of them today. we also heard their distinctive *pulip* call. they seem to have a nest in that corner of the farmers field.
- also saw a Bobolink and Eastern Kingbird in the same area.
