An adult female GOLDEN-WINGED WARBLER was seen on June 27th and a singing male 
and a female were seen on June 16th in the Thomas Dolan and Stonecrest Road 
area. The adult male CERULEAN WARBLER continues to be seen and heard in Pontiac 
Station, Quebec (since June 14th).
A total of 64 bird species were found during a June 22nd birding outing to 
Quyon, Pontiac Station and the Eardley-Masham Road to Ramsay Lake in Quebec. 
Many local breeding birds were found including CERULEAN and 12 other warbler 
species, NORTHERN GOSHAWK, BROAD-WINGED HAWK, AMERICAN KESTREL, BLACK-BILLED 
CUCKOO and BLUE-HEADED VIREO.
Many of the local breeding bird species were found during a June 24th birding 
outing to the Quebec Lac la Blanche area. A NORTHERN GOSHAWK and many 
BLUE-HEADED VIREOS were seen. The 16 species of warblers heard were; NASHVILLE, 
NORTHERN PARULA, YELLOW, CHESTNUT-SIDED, MAGNOLIA, BLACK-THROATED BLUE, 
YELLOW-RUMPED, BLACK-THROATED GREEN, BLACKBURNIAN, PINE, BLACK-AND-WHITE, 
AMERICAN REDSTART, OVENBIRD, NORTHERN WATERTHRUSH, COMMON YELLOWTHROAT and 
CANADA.

Other interesting sightings were;
- the TRUMPETER SWAN, first reported May 26th, was seen again June 16th on 
Constance Creek at the Thomas Dolan bridge
- LEAST BITTERNS continue to be heard at the above location 
- 3 GREAT EGRETS were found at the Cedarview Road Bruce Pit on June 27th
- the MOURNING WARBLER, found on June 21st, continues on the Algonquin College 
campus
- 2 TENNESSEE WARBLERS were heard singing along the Carbine Trail west of 
Pakenham June 26th
- an adult BLACK-CROWNED NIGHT-HERON was seen flying near the hwy 417 Moodie 
west exit on June 26th
- a pair of UPLAND SANDPIPERS were seen on the NE corner of Dwyer Hill and 
Panmure roads on June 28th
