We received an unconfirmed report of the frigate bird at the bluffs just east of Morpeth. It was seen roosting in a poplar tree along the lakeshore. This is the same general area where it was previously seen. The sighting was yesterday, Saturday, by a non birder who is familiar with the frigate bird from his winters in Florida. Anne and I will take the boat out tomorrow and check the shore line to try to relocate the bird.
