During the past week July 20th-27th at my cottage on Peacock Point, Lake Erie
(between Nanticoke and Selkirk) .I was witness to :
at least 1 adult bald eagle hunting over the lake .
2 -3rd year juvenile balds cruising the shoreline .
1 adult peregrine spotted twice along the shoreline .One time being chased by a
large group of purple martins and swallows as the peregrine had one their own
in its talons  .Not sure of this peregrine is still living in the area of the
Esso refinery as once reported on this site
