Birder's - I was out to Goertimus Island this morning and it was quite decent
for shorebirds. The best find was a juvenile Red-necked Phalarope seen first
out on the sand spits on the Michigan side and subsequently at several places
along the west shore of the island which is all in Ontario. At least 5
Buff-breasted Sandpipers were nice and at least 12 Baird's Sandpipers and a
lone adult White-rumped were in with a large number of peeps.

Pictures have been posted on the Sault Birds website.-
