Ontbirders, At 2.30 this afternoon there were 12 Short-billed Dowitchers huddled together just offshore and then feeding along the shoreline north of the western boating pond, they flew off to the east and landed near the creek at approx. 3pm.
6 Black-bellied Plovers flew over Andrew Haydon Park (west) whilst watching the dowitchers. DIRECTIONS: Andrew Haydon Park is located at the intersection of Holly Acres and Carling Avenue in Ottawa.
