Sorry. I sent the previous email too quickly At least one bird still present at 12:45pm today, amongst the hundred or so shorebirds, including many A. Golden Plovers.
The Godwit was seen feeding within 15 feet of the fence on the south end of the fenced in area. I observed it for about 10 minutes before all the birds flushed. It landed in a different location but I didn't pick up the search Thanks to the amazing folks who report on OntBirds I have just added species numbers 490 and 491 for my North American Big Year.
