While we were at Presqu'ile for the Thick-billed Flycatcher, Dan Kaczynski
called saying he had a Hudsonian Godwit at Second Marsh in Oshawa.

Charlie Adey and I saw the bird around 2:30.

Directions: From the west, exit 401 at Harmony Road and proceed south on
Farewell to Colonel Sam Drive.

>From the east, there is a detour due to work on the Harmony Bridge over the
401.

You will need to exit at Ritson Road and go south on Ritson to Wentworth and
left on Wentworth.

Wentworth turns into Colonel Sam as it crosses Farewell.

Park on Colonel Sam just past the bridge and walk south on the path (gated)
to the marsh.

The bird was seen in the area to the east where you can see the open water
of the marsh.

There is a path through the cattails - a little muddy but boots aren't
necessary.
