Hi Ontbirders:

Today, the mudflats and waters off Scrivens was in sharp contrast to Saturday.
As far as I know, the Buff-Breasted Sandpiper that had been seen all week on
the mudflats and rocks off Scrivens was not seen today. There were a number of
terns flying around just further out on the river from the same spot. Many of
the shorebirds seen yesterday were also not present today. On Saturday there
were two Black-Bellied Plovers seen in the shallow water off Scrivens. Not
seen today, at least not on the Ottawa side of the river. Early this afternoon
there was one Yellow-Leg seen feeding between Ottawa Beach and Scrivens.
Thanks.
