The hawk migration report for HBMO on September 11, 2012 mistakenly referred to 28 Evening Grosbeaks passing over the hawk tower. The number had been entered in error onto the daily passerine check list. It was supposed to have been an additional 28 American Goldfinch. I apoligize for the error and any inconvevience it may have caused. As a side note, the 5 American White Pelicans that have been in the Big Creek marsh at the Holiday Beach Conservation Area since May of this year flew off to the south-east at approximately 1 p.m. on Monday, September 10th. They have not returned.
