Lots of birds and birders at the Cranberry hawk watch yesterday. 61 species included:
Bald Eagle 5 (2 adults + 3 juveniles) Osprey 5 Turkey Vulture 153 Northern Harrier 4 Sharp-shinned 120 Cooper's 4 Broad-winged 15 Red-tail 5 Kestrel 13 Merlin 2 Raven - one very vocal individual Blue Jays 1376 pipits 104 Rusty Blackbird 1 Palm, Wilson's, Black-thr. Green, Magnolia, Nashville and YR Warblers BG Gnatcatcher 1 Ring-necked Duck - one female Great Egret 5 Cranberry is at the foot of Hall's Road in Whitby.
