It was a lovely day at the hawk watch yesterday ... light southerly winds
reminded me of tropical destinations and the rain cooled my spirit, fraught
with the rigors of the day.

All said, it was pleasant day, but not for hawks - one Osprey graced my
presence!

Other birds included 13 pipits, a towhee, 2 Fox Sparrows, an Eastern Phoebe and
a Rusty Blackbird

A Great Egret (unbanded) was at Duffin's Creek, seen on my way home.

Directions: From Victoria St in Whitby go south on Halls Rd to the second
short walkway going east to the Cranberry Marsh Lookout.
