Observation start time: 07:00:00
Observation end time: 15:30:00
Total observation time: 8.5 hours

Official Counter: Jonathan Stein

Observers: Andrew Sturgess, Fred Kirn

Visitors:
Rodney Laura and a few others.

Weather:
But for a brief clearing window, it was overcast throughout. Temperatures
hovered around the mid 50s. The wind was light and mostly out of the
southwest.

Raptor Observations:
The skies were all but empty up until we finally got a little bit of
clearing late in the day. Some pent-up Turkey Vultures and a smattering of
buteos made a break for it when we did.

Non-raptor Observations:
A Common Loon flew low overhead early in the morning. Red-winged Blackbird
(800+) movement continued apace. A sizable flock of Rusty Blackbirds was
hanging out in the trees behind us, which was nice to hear. A small flock
of Cedar Waxwings (15+) passed overhead at one point. American Goldfinches
and Pine Siskins continued to fly over in small numbers.

Predictions:
Partly sunny with highs in the mid 70s and moderate south wind.
