Awesome winds from the north in Sarnia this aft. It is currently too difficult to keep scoping but over the last 2 hrs. I have had a juv. Kittiwake make several appearances out in the bay in both countries! My car is shaking as I write this!!!
2 or more shorebirds which appear to be phalaropes and presumably Reds have swung by in the high winds several times not affording a proper I.D. Black and W-W. Scoters, Red-necked and Horned Grebes are also present. Many other duck sp. too of coarse. Directions: north of the 402 in Sarnia at Lake Huron. Bird from the Lighthouse area at end of Fort St. The birding is actually WICKED! And should continue tomorrow. This is a very good spot to pick up a Harlequin Duck too. Have fun out there. Andrew.
