Weather: Cloudy with moderate NW winds and bitter cool. For a brief period of onshore flow when the land surface became warmwer than the lake the wind backed to SW. Raptor Observations: A decent flight given the overcast conditions with most birds very high and in and out of the cloud deck. Non-raptor Observations: Non-raptors include 4 Wilson Snipe, 1750 American Crow, 180 Common Grackle,60 Brown-headed Cowbird, 4 Purple Finch, 1 Common Redpoll, 6 Evening Grossbeak. Predictions: Variable clouds with light NW-N winds and cool.
