Hi All

Well, that was exciting - I was sitting at my desk, busily working on the
Festival of Birds program for next spring when I spotted a single Evening
Grosbeak out of the corner of my eye. The one soon revealed to be part of
a group of 20-25 birds, they came in to get a drink at the pond and then
moved east in the shrubs along the side of the building. I had a smaller
flock fly over the Visitor Centre parking lot when I arrived this morning,
and White-winged Crossbills around the White Pines at the Visitor Centre
yesterday.

Can't wait to see what other northern visitors show up in the far south
this year!

Good birding everyone!
Sarah
