Hello Birders,

It's been an active week for winter birds on the northern portion of the Bruce

today.

Red Crossbill - A few individuals are have been found in the area; one was at a
feeder in Tobermory today.

White-winged Crossbill - There are quite a few around; flocks are regular
around Tobermory and Bruce Peninsula National Park.

Evening Grosbeak - Small flocks are being seen/heard around Tobermory and
Bruce Peninsula National Park; some are visiting feeders.

Pine Grosbeak - There are small numbers around Tobermory and Bruce Peninsula
National Park.

Common Redpoll - Moderate numbers are being seen in the area.

Sorry for not including specific locations, most of these species are on the

Thanks to other birders for sharing their sighthings (Don Duoma, John
Haselmayer, Don and Gwend Wilkes).

Happy Birding!
