There was a single barred owl at cranberry marsh today at around 1:00 to 3:00. It may still be there. It caught a mouse and brought it in further into the trees.
Other birds seen: black capped chickadees, blue jays, white breasted nuthatches, dark eyed juncos, white throated sparrows, and a single eastern towhee, and A boreal chickadee was seen. Birds from the viewing deck: northern shovelers, pintails, buffleheads, mallards, gadwall, and lots of Canada geese. Whitby, halls road. Good luck!
