Just to update you on the Cattle Egret that I first reported on Sunday (Nov 18/2012) at 582 Garden River Road in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. I just talked to the landowner and the bird is still actively feeding as of a few minutes ago. According to the landowner this bird was first observed the first week of November just after Hurricane Sandy passed through. Old Garden River Road is located in the north-central part of town (east of Great Northern Road). Sault Ste. Marie is located 3 hours west of Sudbury on Hwy 17. Ken McIlwrick Sault Ste.
