Ontbirders, There was a 1st basic male [type] Dickcissel in the prairie restoration plot field of Burgess Park this morning, in Woodstock's south end. This is the 4th county record and our 1st in fall. To find Burgess Park, take Hwy 2 [Dundas] west from Woodstock over the Thames. Turn right on 11th line and park in the gravel lot 200 m up. Walk the trail to the large, sloping field on your left. The bird was towards the centre. Cheers,
